Sunshine Health & Rehab provides specialized rehabilitation for individuals recovering from surgery, illness, accidents, cardiac events, and strokes. We focus on helping patients regain independence, improve function, and enhance their quality of life.
Our team of licensed Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists work to improve mobility, balance, strength, swallowing, and communication skills. Therapy is tailored to each individual and provided 5 days a week, particularly in the crucial early stages of recovery.
We offer specialized care for orthopedic injuries, joint replacements, strokes, cardiac conditions, and post-surgery rehabilitation. Our on-site gym and equipment support recovery goals, with a medical doctor and nurse practitioner available five days a week.
A Supportive, Healing Environment
Sunshine Health & Rehab fosters a caring atmosphere, with meals prepared by a professional chef under the guidance of a registered dietitian. Our activity programs—featuring art, music, discussions, and community events—are designed to keep residents engaged. Families are encouraged to join in.
Whole-Person Care
We integrate spiritual care with on-site chaplain services, welcoming all faiths. Our medical social worker and discharge planner help families connect to community resources, and we offer home safety visits before discharge to ensure a smooth transition home.
