Job Description
Sunshine Health and Rehab is hiring a Speech Therapist to work on-call, based on employee availability.

Responsibilities
• Maintain current reporting, documentation, scheduling, and billing in accordance with professional standards, state and local guidelines, and reimbursement requirements.
• Evaluate the patient’s abilities and formulate the patient’s treatment plan through a variety of functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories, and interviews.
• Synthesize evaluation results into a plan of care, which reflects strengths and/or barriers to patient discharge requirements; directs program development; and guides evidence-based intervention.
• Provide targeted, evidence-based therapeutic intervention to facilitate patient participation and physical performance within their specific discharge environment.
• Adapt and modify the environment, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor and reassess the effects of physical therapy intervention and the need to continue, modify, or discontinue intervention.
• Maintain clinical and administrative records in accordance with professional standards, state guidelines, and Medicare policy.
Required Qualifications (Certificates and Licenses)
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy school.
• Current license by Washington State Board of Speech Therapy
Required Education
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy school.
Equivalent experience is not accepted in place of required education.
